About the Student
Ambassador Program

The Student Ambassadors program was designed to help students realize their vision of their future. Providing tools from local business owners to help them establish valuable connections, and teach them the current workforce skills needed to pursue their educational and professional goals with a head start, all while being a mentor and colleague to other students! They are the faces of the community events under the gift of giving Foundation.

Students Alternated every week to various businesses for five weeks learning the ins and out of different fields of the business world. Students earn up to 15-20 hours of community service.

The program takes place in the Fall and Spring of every year.

Jessica Brown, Director

Jessica Brown is a recent Iona college graduate with the knowledge and skills to use toward her position as the head of our Student Ambassadors program. Her Degree in Media and Strategic Communications allows her goals in life to be broad and many new avenues to pursue. Being apart of the first Pilot of the Student Ambassador’s Program, she is even more excited for what we have in store for the rest of them.
